Cafe+ Colorful Inorganic Terrazzo Floor Parquet
The interior design of Shanghai Baoshan Jingwei Store is inspired by the "big dining room" and "big dining table" common in China from the 1950s to the 1970s. The central question we considered in the design was how to make the bakery a community center at the same time? We hope to develop a prototype that will be rolled out to other branches in the future
In the center of the shop is a broad bean-shaped dining table, which consists of ten small dining tables, and the patterns on the dining table can be divided and combined as needed. At the same time we noticed that people in the community and 21 Cake Bakery have different needs for space during the day: in the morning, small tables are only available for breakfast, in the afternoon and evening, large tables are available for parties of different sizes, ranging from bake classes for a few people to groups of people birthday party. The large dining table can also be used to display bread and cakes.
The ground adopts colorful parquet texture terrazzo and colorful parquet texture terrazzo coffee display counter. On the ground below the large dining table, we embedded copper strips in terrazzo to outline the floor plan of the large dining table above, which can be used as a guide for the use of this piece of furniture. The lamps above the large dining table are flexible and changeable and can be adjusted according to the position of the dining table.
The trolley is another corporate innovation cultural element in the design. It can be carted by a waiter to the customer's table and can also be used directly for display and tasting of fresh products at the entrance and other key locations in the store. The trolleys are made of bent wood and come in three different shapes, which are mainly used to store bread, cakes or ice cream.
In the overall design of the space, we use inorganic terrazzo, wood veneer, and coarse-grained paint as the main materials, and all colors use a warm color system to create a relaxed and warm home feeling for community customers.
