How to Install Rammed Earth Wall Panels

1. Construction technology

The installation of rammed earth panels is very convenient. The best installation solution is straight nail and structural glue installation. The exterior wall of the building adopts the form of dry hanging, and the landscape wall adopts the form of dry hanging or pasting.

1): Adhesive form

Process: leveling the base layer → the bottom of the block board → applying glue on the reverse side of the rammed earth board, the structural glue (no nail glue) is 15cm away from the side of the rammed earth board, and embellished with a distance of 1015cm, then paste → detailed treatment → finish .

PS: The interior wall cannot use gypsum board as the base layer, because the surface of the gypsum board has a paper surface, which will make the paste not firm. During the construction process, please ensure that the base layer and glued surface of the rammed earth panel are free of dust.

2): Dry hanging form

①Ordinary dry hanging

Fix the 2cm*4cm keel on the indoor foundation wall, and the center distance of the wooden keel is 30cm. Lay the rammed ground plate horizontally and fasten it to the plate with more honeycomb holes.

②Strengthen dry hanging

On the outside of the ordinary installation wooden keel, install the wooden board, apply a layer of liquid glue on the surface of the wooden board, ram the wooden board horizontally, and fix it on the straight hole of the nail on the surface of the honeycomb wooden board.

2. Construction attention

1): Surface gap treatment

The cracks on the surface need to be repaired with soil (mud), the cracks need to be grouted with grout, and the soil curing agent yellow mud plastering mud is used to fill and repair the cracks.

2): expansion joints reserved on the board

Since the rammed earth panel has certain characteristics and elasticity of thermal expansion, cold shrinkage, wet expansion and dry shrinkage, in order to prevent subsequent deformation or edge collapse, a gap of 35mm should be left between two different rammed earth boards.
